Store-Front

On the store-front picture I erased the trash using the stamp tool. I first started erasing the top of the trash turning it orange like the side of the building. Then I did the very bottom of the building right above the concrete and also extended the brick wall on the bottom to ease the trash as well. Last I did the concrete which was a little more difficult because the black bench leg was in the way, so I could only extend the concrete so close to the bench so I wouldn’t stamp the leg in the concrete.

Character Animator Tutorial Video #6

In video #6 I learned how to add basic triggers, behavioral triggers, and face triggers. These triggers can really make your animations come to life by making a flower grow, causing an explosion, or making different facial triggers. These triggers are activates when you first set what triggers you want to happen and when you have those triggers set a number on the keyboard you want to activate those triggers. So when you click that number on the keyboard this will cause the trigger on your animation making your animation come to life with really cool effects.

Character Update: On my character I have been adding to the hair a lot mostly adding curls to make it a little more realistic looking than just a curvy blob of brown. When I finished adding curls on the left side of the hair I then flipped everything horizontally and arranged it on the right side to match. Then I used the brush tool to get right of the over lapping lines at the top of her head to make it look like the curls start together and then blend out separately. The last thing I did was add the eye color to the eyes by using the ellipse tool and using a brown fill and sending the colored circles behind the pupils to make the eyes look more realistic.

In video number 2 I learned how to record and edit the characters voice and the characters movements. He recorded the character saying hi and doing hand and body movements. After he finished recording he edited the beginning and the end of the recording. This way the recording smoothly transitions from one take to another. This video also teaches you how to perfectly match the audio with the characters mouth creating the perfect lip sync track.

Character update: I have recently been trying to put hair on my character. I used the pen tool to make curls on my character, but I am trying to make the curls a little more realistic so I am going to add more pieces of curls with the pen tool. The blonde hair is so I can see the hair because it was difficult to see with the black background.once I finish the curls on the blonde side I am going to flip them horizontally and copy and paste them on the other side of the hair.

In the first tutorial video I learned how to get my character started. The first thing I added to my character was her face. I used the ellipse tool to get the round shape of her face then added color to the face to match my skin tone. Then I learned how to adjust some facial features. The facial features I adjusted were her eyebrows they didn’t move much for me in the beginning, so I went to the eyebrow strength percentage and changed it from 75% to 100% and now her eyebrows are more expressive.
